Managing your diabetes while you are in the hospital will help prevent complications and will help you to heal more quickly and fully. Our inpatient diabetes educator, doctors and nurses will provide you with the highest quality care for your diabetes while you are a patient at YRMC. Inpatient care includes:
- Managing your blood sugar
- Providing for your nutritional needs
- Teaching basic skills to manage your diabetes when you leave the hospital
