Offerings may include Healing Touch, Guided Imagery and training in topics such as Crucial Conversations, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and Crucial Confrontations.
Students may experience a wide range of unique opportunities to practice ministry within a clinical team environment, such as working with trauma situations, end of life issues and crisis intervention. YRMC typically offers five residencies each year and supports each residency with a stipend.
Prerequisites: To apply for residency, candidates should have successfully completed one year of post-graduate education and be in good standing in their faith group.
The Extended Program
For individuals who wish to participate in the CPE experience while maintaining their current employment, YRMC may offer a one day per week program on an as-needed basis. When offered, the program typically requires one day per week and lasts 4-6 months.
