Yuma Regional Medical Center Seeks Volunteer Cart Drivers
Corporate Communication Specialist
(June 12, 2013 – Yuma, Arizona) – Yuma Regional Medical Center's Volunteer Services department has immediate openings for evening and weekend volunteer cart drivers. Cart drivers play an integral role on the YRMC campus, offering patients and visitors a golf cart ride between their vehicle and an entrance.
As YRMC's campus undergoes construction during the next several years to transform the hospital and the healthcare services provided to our community, patients remain our first priority. During this construction, YRMC wants to ensure that each patient and visitor is offered a cart ride to an entrance. Cart drivers will know the best way to safely navigate around construction.
Cart drivers are asked to commit to a minimum of one day per week for a four hour shift. Evening shifts are from 4 – 8 p.m. and weekend shifts begin at 8 a.m. To begin the application process for volunteering at the hospital, visit www.yumaregional.org and click 'Volunteers' on the left side of the page. You may also contact Elizabeth Hammonds, Volunteer Services Officer, at (928) 336-2005 or firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the application process.
