Heart Screening Special

Heart disease continues to be the number one killer of both men and women. When found early, heart disease can be treated and often reversed.The Heart Center of Yuma is committed to helping patients keep their hearts healthy and strong. There are many factors, such as blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose (blood sugar) levels, that can affect how well a person's heart is working. To help patients monitor their heart health, YRMC offers the following screening services in a single, convenient package for only $199:

  • 64-slice CT calcium scoring interpreted by a board certified radiologist
  • Heart Valve Screening
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • EKG pocket card
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Lipid profile (good and bad cholesterol)
  • Glucose (blood sugar) screening
  • PSA (prostate-specific antigen) test for men
  • Dietary assessment

The heart screening also includes a personal consultation with a cardiac nurse, a printout of the results and a referral to a cardiologist (if necessary).

Screenings are scheduled on the following days:

  • March 9, 2013
  • March 23, 2013
  • April 6, 2013
