10:00am – Finding Focus and Enjoyment in a Hectic Life. Join Dr. Mushtaq and Dr. Gullahorn as they share their career and personal aspirations, and inspire you to live out your own dreams.
Leslie J. Gullahorn, M.D., a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, received her Medical Doctorate from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her internship in general surgery at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California. Dr. Gullahorn did her orthopaedic residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, and received an Association for Osteosynthesis/Association for the Study of Internal Fixation (AO/ASIF) fellowship in orthopaedic trauma from Denver Health Medical Center. She completed an additional orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Parkland Medical Center in Dallas, and a sports medicine fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Diego.
Fun facts: Dr. Gullahorn was a trapeze artist before she went to medical school. She has climbed Aconcagua, the highest peak in the hemisphere; Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa and Chimborazo, the point on earth closest to the sun and furthest from the earth's center.
Romila Mushtaq, M.D. received her Medical Doctorate from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Pakistan. She completed her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Mushtaq did her Neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and her Epilepsy fellowship at the University of Michigan Health System.
Fun facts: When Dr. Mushtaq was growing up, she wanted to be the Indian version of Oprah or Connie Chung – she still hasn't given up on that dream! Dr. Mushtaq is in the process of training to be a yoga teacher after being inspired to do daily yoga and medication while traveling to Cambodia, Bali and Thailand.

Brenda Carroll, M.D. specializes in Medical Oncology and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and earned a Medical Doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina located in Charleston. Dr. Carroll completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Oncology at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia.
Dr. Carroll holds active membership in the American Medical Association, GASCO, Medical Association of Georgia as well as the Society of Integrative Medicine.
Timothy B. Galang, M.D. received a Medical Doctorate from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Galang also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the Incarnate Word University in San Antonio.
Candice Jensen, M.D. A Board certified General Surgeon, Dr. Jensen completed residency training at Sound Shore Medical College in New York, and the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson. She completed a fellowship in minimally invasive & bariatric surgery from UCLA Medical Center.
Constance G. Uribe, M.D. a Board Certified General Surgeon, received her degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. She completed her Internship and Residency in General Surgery at Valley Medical Center in Fresno, CA, a University of California San Francisco Affiliate. Uribe has been a guest lecturer at medical conferences across the country in a variety of subjects including breast cancer. She is also the author of The Health Care Provider's Guide to Facing the Malpractice Deposition.
Fun Facts: As a little girl, Dr. Uribe danced weekly on a show televised from the old KIVA station near the sand dunes. She was the first student from Yuma accepted to the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Brock Amon, M.D. is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his Medical Doctorate from University of Arizona and did his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Banner Good Samaritan. His interests include infertility, obstetrics/gynecology, laparoscopic surgery, endometrial ablation and Essure procedure.
Fun Fact: Like lettuce and cantaloupe, Dr. Amon is a product of Yuma! He is a Yuma native and a Yuma High graduate. He is married to Jean Amon, M.D. a local pediatrician and together they have two beautiful children. In his spare time Dr. Amon likes to go fishing with his family (if he's lucky enough to catch one!).
