The Diabetes Education Center is located at the Yuma Regional Corporate Center, 399 West 32nd Street. The caring professionals who staff the center include Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitians who are Certified Diabetes Educators. A wide range of services are available to those with diabetes and their family members including:
- Individual appointments for adults and children
- Group classes in English and Spanish
- Diabetes self management skills
- Insulin administration training
- Community education in screening for diabetes
- A diabetes support group
