Our 333-bed, Medicare certified acute care facility provides medical resources for the warm and friendly community of Yuma, as well as surrounding communities. YRMC offers modern facilities, including a Women and Children Services Center featuring comfortable, private single-room birthing; a Level 2 EQ neonatal ICU; and a Pediatric/Women's unit. The Cardiopulmonary Care unit provides the latest in cardiac catheterization. A Cancer Center and a free-standing Outpatient Surgery Center also are part of our campus.

Children's Health Services ...
Improving a child's life. That's the determined force behind our multidisciplinary team that drives various programs for newborn intensive care follow-up, early intervention and children's rehab.
Critical Care ...
Critical Care services includes the Intensive Care Unit/Step Down Unit, the Postoperative Acute Care Unit and Palliative Care. The ICU/SDU is a 42-bed state of the art multi-specialty unit which is patient/family centered, with 10 beds reserved for cardiovascular patients. Critical Care utilizes the latest in technology and methodology, such as intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation, hemodynamic monitoring and continuous renal replacement therapy.
Our Palliative Care program organizes and offers a multidisciplinary consultation service for patients who are in need of symptom management and end of life care.
Diagnostic Imaging ...
Patients in our Diagnostic Imaging Department get the real picture of their treatment needs. Our specialized team of state- and nationally-licensed professionals utilizes the very latest in medical imaging equipment and procedures, including MRI digital imaging, low-dose mammography, spiral and linear CAT scans, diagnostic x-rays, angiography, digital radiography, ultrasound and nuclear medicine technology.

In an emergency, people need to think fast. That’s why they think of YRMC’s 37-bed Emergency Department. Our highly qualified staff treats more than 61,000 patients annually and serves as a base hospital for the Emergency Medical System. And to treat patients more effectively, we operate a 7-bed ED section for non-acute care.
Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy Services ...
Thoroughly examining our patients is our foremost priority. Outpatient and inpatient services are conducted within our 8-bed Preprocedure/Postprocedure Care Unit and four procedure suites.
Heart Center ...
Our Heart Center includes open heart surgery, invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for cardiac patients and a 64-slice CT.
Women and Children Services ...
We take pride in our warm, family-centered approach to care. Every year we deliver more than 3,400 babies - with seven antepartum rooms and 28 comfortable Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) rooms. Our Women and Children Services Center encompasses a Level II EQ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, operating room suites, Postanesthesia Care Unit for Caesarean births and outpatient OB/GYN surgery, plus our 23-bed Pediatric/Women's unit provides care to pediatric patients and post-surgical gynecological care for women. Outpatient services provided by our Family Support Services include childbirth education classes.
Medical/Surgical Services ...
Our multidisciplinary team is committed to quality care at every level. As a regional referral center, the health care professionals in our medical services areas provide care to a diverse range of patients. These areas include a 52-bed Surgical Unit tailored to the care of trauma and postsurgical/orthopedic patients and a 46-bed Medical Unit focused on oncology and dialysis.
YRMC features 2 telemetry units: a 52-bed unit that includes an 8-bed chest pain/congestive heart failure area, and a new 36-bed unit featuring single patient rooms.

Just what the doctor ordered. Our two pharmacies are fully computerized, providing the highest level of quality in a time-efficient manner. This advanced system allows our inpatient and outpatient pharmacy staff to devote more time to patient care and patient/physician intervention.

Our Surgery Department sets the standards for excellence. Performing more than 10,000 surgeries a year, our fine surgeons and staff use the latest medical technology and equipment available - such as advanced laparoscopic and cystoscopy video systems, and CO2, NdYAG, Argon and Candela Laser technologies.
Equally as important as Surgical Services, our Outpatient Services team is well diversified and proficiently cross-trained to properly assist patients with preadmittance, pre-op, recovery and discharge for multitude of outpatient hospital department procedures.
