How does The Foundation raise funds?
The Foundation offers you a variety of giving opportunities:
- Cash donation or pledge to be paid over a period of time
- Annual giving
- Commemorative or memorial giving
- Planned giving:
- bequests in your will or life insurance policy, with the Foundation as beneficiary
- donation of appreciated assets
- trusts
- Special Events
- Scholarship Program
- Clinical Pastoral Education
- Women and Children Services Brick Program
- Diabetes Education

Here's to Your Health
The Foundation has provided support to our programs since 1976 with the first fundraising project to purchase YRMC's first CT scanner. Today the Foundation has become a vital part of ensuring a health community. Just a few of the many projects supported by the Foundation are:
- Scholarships ($20,000 annually)
- School Health Care Program
- $125,000 donated for a mobile health clinic
- Expansion of Heart Services
- Palliative Care/Healing Garden
- Diabetes Program
- Neonatal ICU (Nikken space blankets, Nature's Cradle)
