Learn the stages of labor, birth and postpartum care for deliveries, breathing and relaxation exercises, pain management and medical interventions including anesthesia and inductions. This class will also include a tour of YRMC’s Labor and Delivery/Mother Baby Unit.

Note: Please wear comfortable clothes for exercises and shoes for the tour.

If you are an expecting mother under the age of 18, or have limited financial resources, you may be eligible to receive services at Yuma Regional Medical Center for free or for a reduced out-of-pocket expense. Please call our Childbirth Educator for more information at 928-336-7058.

Swaddle Bundle – Expecting mothers have the option to take individual classes at $50 a class or select a bundle for a discounted price of $150 for all four classes (Preparing for Labor, Labor and Birth, Breastfeeding 101 and Newborn Safety).
