Patient Satisfaction

At Yuma Regional Medical Center, we want to make sure that every patient’s experience, from the moment they are admitted until the day they are discharged, is a positive one. That’s why we take stringent steps to measure our performance as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the way we deliver care. Some of the steps we take include:

  • Gathering patient input through the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Hospital Survey to help us gain meaningful insights into our patients’ experiences.
  • Transparently sharing our data through two consumer-focused hospital comparison sites, Hospital Compare and The Leapfrog Group. Each of these sites is dedicated to giving patients the information they need to make informed decisions about which hospital to use. 
  • Achieving accreditation through Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), an organization that works to advance high-quality patient care and safety through the objective application of recognized standards. This accreditation is recognized by the federal government, state governments, managed care organizations and insurance companies. 
  • Supporting Care Advocacy by offering patients and their family members multiple steps they can take to voice their concerns if they are ever dissatisfied with any of our services, employees or facilities.
