Gregory Baker, M.D. is a board certified neurologist who graduated residency in 2004 from Michigan State University's multi-hospital system in the Detroit metropolitan area. Dr. Baker has practiced in Michigan, Florida, Utah and ran a busy general neurology clinic in Las Vegas with a subspecialty expertise in headache. In 2012, Dr. Baker left the outpatient world to pursue his love of inpatient neurology with an emphasis in stroke and cerebrovascular diseases.  Dr. Baker directed the hospital toward its first silver award for stroke care in 2016. In April of 2016 he was named Medical Director of Neurology and Stroke Director at YRMC.  Cerebrovascular disease is his primary emphasis as a neuro-hospitalist.  He directed YRMC into becoming a Primary Stroke Center this past year.
