J. Brock Amon, MD, grew up in Yuma. His work ends up being more than practicing medicine. For Dr. Amon it is taking care of his friends and neighbors. After graduating from the University of Arizona School of Medicine, he completed the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. He is the medical director of obstetrics and gynecology at Yuma Regional Medical Center and the CEO of the Southwest Health Collaborative.

In his free time, Dr. Amon enjoys spending time with his family as well as volunteering and officiating for Yuma swim teams and clubs.
