The Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center provides scholarships to Yuma Regional Medical Center nurses that exude excellence and wish to continue their medical education. Each year $8,000-$10,000 is distributed. These scholarships have been made possible thanks to the generosity of local Yumanitarians Dr. Dale F. and Lyndis A. Webb, and are to encourage development and enhance nursing leadership within Yuma County.
Deadline for application: All applications for the scholarship opportunities described below are due by April 1st at 5:00p.m. No applications will be accepted after the deadline. Awards can be up to $2,000 per recipient.
General criteria for nursing scholarships:
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be a Yuma County Resident
- Be currently employed as a nurse at Yuma Regional Medical Center
- A full time employee of Yuma Regional Medical Center
- Have not received corrective action within the past 12 months
