La Paz Regional Hospital and Yuma Regional Medical Center are proud to announce a new affiliation between the pair of not-for-profit community hospitals.

Beginning in August, Yuma Regional Medical Center will collaborate with La Paz Regional Hospital to provide supportive hospitalist care (physicians and nurse practitioners) and supportive Emergency Room care.

"As the community hospital for Parker and the surrounding areas, La Paz Regional Hospital always aims to deliver the very best care possible to our neighbors. I am very proud to say that our care providers meet that high standard every day," said hospital CEO Vickie Clark. "This new collaboration with Yuma Regional Medical Center gives us several critical resources that will help La Paz Regional Hospital elevate the depth of our care to an even greater level. The real winners in this collaboration are the patients who depend on La Paz Regional Hospital."

Physicians supporting the Emergency Room will be employees of Southwest Emergency Physicians (SWEP), the major care provider for the Emergency Department at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
