YRMC partnering with state and local agencies to host COVID-19 testing blitz

UPDATE: There is currently a backlog of COVID-19 tests to process. Individuals who were tested during YRMC's testing blitz will be called by YRMC with their test results immediately upon receipt from the laboratory. 

Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is pleased offer FREE drive-through testing for COVID-19 Saturday, May 9 and 16 from 8 am to noon as part of Governor Ducey’s Testing Blitz.The location will be the parking lot of the Yuma Civic Center, 1440 W. Desert Hills Drive. 

YRMC has partnered with the Yuma County Health Department, Arizona Department of Health and City of Yuma to offer this resource to our community.

Testing will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to help determine individuals are are currently infected with COVID-19. No physician lab order will be required to participate. Testing is intended for people 18 years and older who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or who may have been exposed to someone with the virus. People who are tested will be asked to self- quarantine for 7-14 days as they wait for test results. 

If you plan to attend, please ensure that each individual in your vehicle is wearing a cloth mask.

Additional testing will occur the following Saturday at the same hours.
