Each cancer patient at the Yuma Regional Medical Center Cancer Center is assigned to a nurse navigator who will guide them through each step of their cancer journey. These experienced nurses serve as the “bridge” between the patient and their health care team. They help facilitate the patient’s care by providing educational resources and referrals. Nurse navigators also communicate with primary care physicians to ensure that any questions or concerns the patient may have are addressed.
Our social workers draw upon their counseling skills and knowledge of community resources to help patients adjust to living with cancer.
Massage therapy, nutritional services, and spiritual care are just a few of many supportive care services we offer our patients.
Our clinic provides survivors with a treatment plan targeting their future physical and emotional needs.
