Children with diabetes need extra special attention and care. The pediatric endocrinology team understands the complications and challenges facing children and families living with diabetes.
Our team works to help children:
- Live an active and engaged in life
- Keep diabetes controlled
- Stay out of the hospital
Our expert endocrinologist treats patients while working alongside our child-friendly team members
, including a certified diabetes educator, dietitian and social worker. We offer focused, compassionate education and training to help children and adolescents be healthy.
Whether your child lives with type 1, type 2, medication-induced or maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY), we work to help your child thrive. You and your child can better manage living and flourishing with diabetes through the mentoring and outpatient education we incorporate into clinic visits.
