Learners must pass a pre-assessment with 70% before the class; proof of successful pre-assessment completion is required. Current BLS is a requirement for both ACLS and PALS classes. PALS is a program dedicated the care of critically ill or injured children. This active participation course emphasizes early recognition of the infant or child at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest.
