Direct Pay Charges

Direct pay charge information is available as a resource for decisions you may make regarding health care services provided by Yuma Regional Medical Center. For your reference, we have included a list of our top 50 most common inpatient and outpatient Direct Pay Charges. Information listed in these documents are of particular interest to individuals who are uninsured, enrolled in a health insurance plan that is not contracted with Yuma Regional Medical Center or intend to directly pay for your health care services regardless of health coverage status.

The listed Direct Pay Charge is the maximum price a patient would pay for standard treatment, regardless of whether the payment is received directly by the patient or the patient’s insurance provider. Actual charges may vary based on a variety of factors including length of stay, the severity of illness and type of medical device selected. It does not include additional care related to complications or exceptional treatment. Emergency Department charges are inclusive of all services within the emergency setting, such as required lab work and imaging services. The Direct Pay Charge for all other services does not include fees charged by physicians working in the hospital, such as surgeons, radiologists and anesthesiologists.

If you do not have insurance, you may qualify for our Financial Assistance Program. Unlike Direct Pay Charges, amounts charged to patients who qualify for Yuma Regional Medical Center’s Financial Assistance Program are discounted based upon the average of the amounts generally paid by Medicare and commercial insurers.
