Education & Professional Highlights

Robert Takesuye, D.O. is an Arizona native, who recently retired from the Navy after 22 years of service. He serves as the medical director of Radiation Oncolology at Yuma Regional Medical Center Cancer Center.

Dr. Takesuye received his medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ. He completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at Los Angeles County/ University of Southern California (LAC/USC) Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Takesuye’s clinical areas of interests include:

  • Treating cancer
  • Helping active duty and retired service members navigate their medical claims with medical record screening

Dr. Takesuye is an advocate for disabled American Veterans and enjoys volunteering in the Yuma community at his sons’ schools and through his church. In his spare time you will find him riding his mountain bike or cheering on Navy Football, USC Football (Fight On!) and our local Wildcats, Sun Devils and Cardinals.
