Volunteer with YRMC

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Yuma Regional Medical Center. We are always looking for friendly, caring volunteers to join our team, and we sincerely hope you will join us. We take great pride in our dedicated team of volunteers who range in age from high school students to retirees. Together, they generously contribute more than 70,000 hours of time each year! We're sure you'll find— as they have — that serving the needs of our hospital community is a very satisfying and rewarding experience. We offer many different types of volunteer opportunities, so there's sure to be one that fits your unique skills and interests. To accommodate our volunteers' needs, we offer flexible scheduling. Positions are available mornings, afternoons and evenings, seven days a week.

How to Apply to be a Volunteer

Adults aged 18 or older can apply online.

If you are 15-18 years of age and still in high school, please read more about our Junior Volunteer Program. Junior volunteers will need to complete the online Junior Volunteer Application

Volunteer Eligibility for Adults

  • We ask that volunteers contribute at least four hours of volunteer time each week.
  • There is no maximum age limit.
  • Volunteers commitments should extend for six months or more. 
  • We will conduct a background investigation.
  • We cannot accept volunteers for mandated court-ordered community service. 
  • No previous experience is necessary – just bring your compassion and enthusiasm! On the job training will be provided.
