Your Child’s Hospital Stay

We understand that being admitted to the hospital can be a scary time for you and your child. We want to assure you that our pediatrics team will do everything possible to reduce any anxiety you may have. Since spending family time together is such an important part of the healing process, we welcome parents to stay in the hospital with their child overnight. And during those times when work and family responsibilities may prevent you from being at the hospital, you can take comfort in knowing that our caring and compassionate staff will be there for your child around the clock.

In addition to the support you’ll receive from our pediatrics team, you can receive emotional and spiritual support from the Yuma Regional Medical Center Spiritual Care department. You may request a visit from one of our chaplains at any time, 24 hours a day. Simply ask your nurse, call the hospital operator or call our Spiritual Care department directly at 928-328-9297.
