Residency and Training

Yuma Regional Medical Center has a deep commitment to offering medical and pastoral professionals the advanced, hands-on training they need to provide a high standard of care to the patients they serve. We currently offer three residency programs:

  • Family & Community Medicine Residency - Our unique, three-year program has been granted the highest level of accreditation a residency program can achieve by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program – Our CPE program is accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education and is recognized nationally for its exceptionally high standards.
  • Pharmacy Residency – Our one-year residency program enables pharmacists to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities in an acute care setting and may be extended to a second year for those who wish to specialize in a particular field.

We are extremely proud of the graduates of our residency programs who are now well prepared to make a significant difference in their fields. To learn more about these residency opportunities and their eligibility requirements, please contact the department of your interest.
